The 2011 Scripting Games are fast approaching (April 4th through the 15th)..
If you’ve been holding off on learning a bit a PowerShell, now is the time to step up and try some of these events. Ed Wilson put together a study guide to help prepare you for some of the skills and techniques you will exercise.
If you have participated before, this year promises to be as fun and exciting, if not more so.
See you at the Games!

Spring 2011 is shaping up to be a busy time…
March 26th – I’m going to SQL Saturday in Chicago. I’ve submitted a couple of sessions (PowerShell Basics and Intermediate PowerShell), so I should know if one get’s accepted towards the end of this month. Regardless, I’m planning on attending. There are some other great potential PowerShell Sessions submitted there as well.
April 17th-19th – I’ll be at the PowerShell Deep Dive at The Expert’s Conference in Las Vegas.
April 29th-30th – I’ll be at the PICC (Professional IT Community Conference) in New Brunswick, NJ. I’ll be teaching a half day class on PowerShell Fundamentals.
And we are just getting into February here… Let’s see what else might come up!

Andy Schneider describes a script club:
Script Clubs are like a hands on lab with no set topic or teacher. You bring an idea for a script, and ask your fellow PowerShell users for help getting the script written.
This is not a lecture or presentation based group (though we may have presentations from time to time). Script Club is focused on creating working scripts that will help you get your work done or just enjoy yourself.
